  • Inside Dalí Universe: journey within the Dalinian universe.
Monday, 2020, May 25

From this coming Wednesday, 27th May, the Dalí Universe Team invites you on a virtual journey that will lead you inside the Dalinian Universe with #InsideDaliUniverse, to discover the many symbols and evocations that Salvador Dalí wanted to impart to us through his use of bronze.

In the first encounter, James Sanders, Project Manager of the Dalí Universe, will reveal the hidden meanings in the sculpture “Profile of Time”.

It will be an opportunity to offer each one of you the possibility of continuing to visit the Dalí Universe collection in a period when some of our exhibitions are not accessible to the public.

Since the beginning of the lockdown, the Dalí Universe has come into your homes through our social networking channels.

Along with us, you have journeyed virtually to Matera, discovering the monumental sculptures exhibited in the city of the “Sassi” and the works of our collection inside the rocky Complex of Madonna delle Virtù and San Nicola dei Greci (https://www.daliamatera.it).

We have visited the city of Prague, stopping momentarily in the square Arkády Pankrác to admire the monumental sculpture “Unicorn”, that Dalí devised in 1977, before entering to visit the exhibition “Dalí-Enigma” (https://www.daliprague.cz/?lang=en).

Continuing our journey, we arrived in McLaren Vale, in Australia, to enjoy the aroma of the land of wines along with the art of the  Master of Surrealism, with the evocative backdrop of the D’Arenberg vineyards and the cubic shaped building, the d'Arenberg Cube, which hosts the exhibition “Dalí at d’Arenberg” (https://www.darenberg.com.au/dali-at-darenberg).

We have been in the heart of Paris, inside the Dalí Paris Permanent Exhibition that looks out over Place du Tertre, in the Montmartre quarter (https://www.daliparis.com/en).

While waiting to start up true travelling again, keep following us on our social networking channels and as soon as you can, come back and visit the Dalí Universe and the works of the Catalan genius in the cities of the world and in our exhibitions.

Enjoy the rest of your journey within the Dalinian universe. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 27th May with #InsideDaliUniverse.
