The Dalí Experience is not only an exhibition but a culturally innovative experience, immersing the visitor in the world of Dalí. Opening in Bologna on November 25th, the exhibition will feature Dalí sculpture, graphics and objets d’art.
Organized by con-fine Art with the patronage of the City of Bologna, and supported by daily newspapers of the region, il Resto del Carlino, La Nazione and Il Giorno, the exhibition, dedicated to the genius of Dalí , will take place at Palazzo Belloni, in Via Barberia, one of Bologna’s most famous historical buildings, in its old town centre.
Nearly two hundred artworks from the Dalí Universe collection, are incorporated in the show, comprising of twenty- two museum -sized bronze Dalí sculptures; ten artworks in glass, created during the 1960s in collaboration with the famous French glass maker Daum from Nancy, twelve gold objects inlaid with 18 karat gold, over one hundred graphic artworks, four monumental size bronze Dalí sculptures which will be positioned in strategic points throughout the city.
The creative group ‘Loop’ has worked on the interactive multi- media side of the exhibition, to create the ‘Dalí Experience’, that is, to bring lesser known elements of the artist’s life to the fore using an interactive approach coupled with the latest technology.
Visitors will be immersed in the polyhedral mind of the artist, discovering the creative forces of Dalí’s infinite imagination.
Interactive installations and three dimensional animations will immerse the visitor in a tour of discovery, quite unlike any other Dalí show.
During the walking tour around the show, visitors can discover the different states of anima of the artist; cultural icon of the 20th century who was involved in cinema and fashion, design and publicity, literature and psychoanalysis.
